Why did child labor become more prevalent during the Industrial Revolution?

    Children were cheap workers. Children made around 10-20% of what an adult made. Children were also more obedient than most adults. Children could also fit into smaller spaces which made them good workers.

    Explanation:

    Children were overall just better workers for the time.

    Kids did not have the rights that we do today therefore they were cheap to hire and could be treated harshly
