The Roman legal system is considered to be unfair to some because the magistrate is given a lot of power.

    Explanation:

Because of this power, the magistrate can even over-rule the civil laws that have been formed. Also some Roman laws are written while others are unwritten which means that these are not specifically to be followed.

In addition, there are different laws for the various aspects of society making them appropriate for some while for others these are not considered to be correct. This makes the legal system of Rome unfair to some.
