The Baul or Bauls are a group of mystic minstrels of mixed elements of Tantra, Sufism, Vaishnavism and Buddhism, from the Bengal region of the Indian subcontinent, comprising Bangladesh and the Indian states of West Bengal, Tripura, Bihar, Jharkhand and Assam's Barak Valley.
