    Kansas is the state which is located on the banks of the Kansa river and where the Kansa Native Americans lived. Kansans were known to be the people of south wind because there prevails a favorable climatic conditions which makes the land fertile for cultivation. It is the wheat basket of the south. Nine tenth of the area is used for agricultural purpose.

    it also produce sugar beets and trick crops. Buffalo grass and blue stem around Flint Hills and blue grass in the east are found. Bison are raised in Ranches and farms throughout the state. Most of the Kansas is known for its rural way of living as cowboys are found in large number. Kansas people face the back-blow of being rural when compared to the city dwellers.
