John locke thoughts on human rights and structure of government. Explain them in one paragraph

    On the idea of human rights, Locke defended the claim that men are by nature born free and equal, he argued that people have rights, such as the right to life, liberty, and property, that have a foundation independent of the laws of any particular society. On structural government, he argued that a legitimate government is based on the idea of separation of powers and talked about the powers of the legislative arm being supreme but still bound by law and nature.
