How was agriculture different in the Middle Colonies and the South?

    In the Southern Colonies soil was much more rich and produced crops more efficiently. The weather was also much more ideal as it was warmer than the Middle Colonies. In the Middle Colonies, soil was rocky and less rich. The weather was also much colder, causing farmers to have a shorter harvest.
