How did industrialization gradually spread to other nations?

The industrial process consists of a systematic set of art and production crafts within facilities (the factory), using machines, energy and human labor, which transforms and combines the raw materials to produce a commodity that will be offered for sale.

The industrial segment expanded significantly since the 18th century, through the First Industrial Revolution, in England. This historic moment was marked by changes in the production process, which incorporated machines (steam engine), capable of producing in series, and started to use more efficient energy sources (coal).

European countries were the first to industrialize, since it was on this continent that the main transformations in the modes of production occurred, therefore, this process is characterized as classic industrialization. Emerging countries are characterized by late, peripheral industrialization, whose development intensified after the Second World War (1945).

The expansion of industries is directly related to the process of urbanization and demographic growth in cities, as this phenomenon exerts great power of attraction for the rural population, a fact that triggers migratory flows to cities. Other aspects of industrialization are the development of infrastructure, transport, communication, various branches of services, environmental degradation, among others.
