Answer: President Harding was the 29th president of the United States who was elected in 1921 when the nation experienced a very strong economy due to the World War I results. Despite the fact that the U. S prospered when president Warren Harding was in office, he was known to be the worst president in the history of the United States. During his short mandate, Harding got involved in scandals (such as the Teapot Dome) due to corruption and bribes which affected the way Americans saw politicians.
