    Ever since English step into the New World, they wanted to establish colonies in America for economic benefits. Over the 16th century, English outpaced their rivals, including Spanish, French, and Dutch. They established many colonies with immigrants from Britain. Colonies became a better place to start a new life for those who were facing persecution, overcrowding and grinding poverty in back home.
