    Explanation:

    This hypothesys, proposed in 1883, relates fined-tuned sensorial processes with superior intelligence. Since then, several studies have attempted to relate intellectual tasks with visual and auditory input, although the results showed little correlation between these variables. This experiment was later expanded to tactile input, and did show a stronger link.
