The United States Constitution divides the powers of the government into the Legislative Branch, Executive Branch, and Judicial Branch. Each have their own powers and have a purpose into maintaining what goes on in the government. All of them are pretty fairly balanced and cannot get one thing done without the other. It is balanced and all of the branches need each other to thrive and continue creating order and peace. An example of this would be that the Legislative Branch creates laws, while the Executive Branch enforces them and the Judicial Branch decides whether or not they are constitutional.
