How do you see technology and individual rights being a factor in the world issues today?

Today in the world technology is very abundant. Majority of people have phones and computers. However, many peoples rights are being violated and we dont even know it. The government has access to everything that is on our phone or computer. No matter how protected you have your devices the government who has given you liberty has taken away your right to privacy. Everything is being analysed and searched for threats which is why we will never have the right to privacy because of these things.
