What similarity can be drawn between state and national governments?

I agree with gibbs our class was talking about it and what he said makes sense

State and national governments are often set up in similar formats such as in the United States with 3 branches and the separation of powers. Also state and national governments create structures by which they seek to govern effectively and create laws to control their powers as well.
