    The colonists were first angry and took action against the British in opposition to the sugar act later they boycotted English products and this earned the Great Britain by hurting them financially

    Basically reacted by protesting, boycotting, or just accepted the sugar act. Some people basically were happy about it while others were not they just didn't like being forced into it.
