What role did weapons of mass destruction play in the u. s. invasion of iraq?

    President George Bush believed that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, but they didn't. it was mostly a response to 9/11, which is still an excuse b/c al-Queda wasn't in Iraq. the invasion of Iraq only made al-Queda even bigger and more powerful.
