What were the effects on the people of the hamilton v burr duel

    Hi!

    Hamilton died because the the bullet landed right between his ribs. This not only affected Hamilton, but also his family and America because he was a Founding Father.

    Burr, on the other hand, was accused of murder. He practically ruined his career for killing a Founding Father. He went from a powerful young politician to a penniless nobody.
