    Well Great Britian Won and did not have to pay reperations so they were finically better off while west germany had to pay war debt to allied powers which caused inflation

    When germany lost to the allied powers the treaty of versialles made them pay war debt to allied powers which made there economy take a turn for the worst aka german money was not worth anything.
