    American Indian and immigrant were involved in the American Civil War.

    Explanation:

    American Indian and immigrant were take part in the American civil war from the side of both Confederate military and Union. It is because these American Indian and immigrant were against the Union just like Confederate military so the tribes of American Indian and immigrant fought against the United States government. But some Native Americans tribes also loyal to the United States government.
