    President Hoover tell Americans to tighten their belts and work harder to recover from the Great Depression because of his beliefs of limited government, which caused him not to give financial and government aid to the American citizens. Though this actions is very much of his known character and philosophy but this couldn't save the economy from plunging into further economic chaos
