    The series of financial reformations, projects and programs started by president Franklin D. Roosevelt between 1933 and 1939 is known as New Deal. It was aimed at recovery and relief from the great depression. Civil works administration, the Farm security Administration, social security Administration and National Industrial Recovery act of 1933.

    Workers progress administration was one such agency that employed millions in public works project in building roads and buildings. It was created on May 6th, 1935. It was renamed as Work Project Administration.
