Which areas of the world contributed technologies to gutenbergs printing press

    Moveable type systems for printing existed in China from the 1000's. While these were made in porcelain, Korea introduced two centuries later the moveable parts in metal.

    Then read where each thing was invented and consider whether that invention led to the use on the press. For instance, China's experiments with movable type most likely did not but Egypt's invention of the screw did.
