How did Pontiac's war and the proclamation of 1763 grow out of migration of colonists?

Pontiac was the leader of the Native Americans, and in 1763 they engaged in a war with that name, - "Pontiac's War" -, against the British settlers, because they settled in the lands of the Native Americans.

Pontiac led an attack on British troops. The battle took place at Fort Detroit in the Ohio Valley.

The Proclamation of 1763, caused the government to draw an imaginary line along the crest of the Appalachian mountains that colonists could not pass. This was done to protect the Indians in western lands.
