Settlers: Most settlers would find that the promise of land is enough to force the removal of those who lived on the land before them, putting themselves above those affected. Although not all of them would be for the removal, some would still see the major affects on the Cherokee people.

The Cherokee: Its not too hard to understand how strange it would be to have different lifestyles trusted upon you, especially when some are following the lifestyle, and others aren't. The confusion of what to do would massively impact the Cherokee.

The Government: Of course, the main focus of the government is to keep their citizens happy, and provide with what they want/need. Most likely, the government wouldn't put up a huge fight over whether or not they should remove the Cherokee. As long as the people are happy, they're in power.

Outside Eyes: Anyone who is an outsider to the events may be torn on deciding who to 'side' with. The Cherokees are being treated unequally and forced out of their homeland, somewhere they've lived for hundreds of years. The settlers need somewhere to live and accommodate the expanding population.

All sides struggled in this situation, inhumane actions were taken, and lives were lost. One can only hope such events will stay in the history books.

(Hopefully this is what you were asking for!)
