What was the United States position on World War I at the beginning of the war?

    Answer: They American public was strictly against going into the war at all costs. They felt like it was a European war for European powers to fight. They did however supply the allies with weapons. However when the Germans began sinking their ships and tried to convince Mexico to fight American the entered the war on the side of the allies.
