Who did the CSA choose as their first president?

    The first and only President of the traitorous Confederate States of America was Jefferson Davis.

    Prior to the Civil War, Jefferson Davis was a Senator representing Mississippi. When the Confederate State seceded and committed treason, they formed a provisional government and named Davis their provisional leader.

    Davis was eventually elected President of the traitorous Confederate States of America. Davis was captured in 1865 by the American/Union Cavalry and was held for two years.

    He was not tried and was eventually released. He eventually became a hero the revisionary Lost Cause supporters of the traitorous Southern rebellion.
