The impact of the Napoleonic Wars was the inspiration of some of the greatest works of fiction in the 19th century: books like War and Peace, art became very political, commemorated Waterloo, France became a "go-to" place for artists. Religion and nationalism spread in various ways. Different countries would form from the vacuum left.
