Pre-war music was mostly ragtime, while the post-war years gave birth to the Jazz Age. Ragtime was also the pre-war dance craze and then after the war it was the Charleston dance. Film and theater also became much more popular after WWI. Fashion also experienced a new turn, with women dressing much more risky and elaborately.
