The following people were not supporters of the new Constitution:
Thomas Jefferson Patrick Henry Samuel Adams George Mason Richard Henry Lee Robert Yates James Monroe Amos Singletary
During the ratification debate, the Antifederalists opposed the Constitution. They complained that the new system threatened liberties and failed to protect individual rights. The Antifederalists were not a united group as such, but instead involved many elements. The anti federalists wanted a weaker central government. The antifederalists wanted a bill of rights. The antifederalists were opposed to the ratification of the constitution. The antifederalists claimed the constitution gave the central government too much power and without a Bill of Rights the people will be at a risk of oppression.

The people whom were not considered a "supporter" of the new constitution are the Anti-Federalists. They always complained about this new constitution threatened people liberties, and failed to protect individual rights.
