    Answer: They wanted to control all of the Island of Hispaniola.

    Haiti is located in East of Cuba which is in Greater Antilles. Three-eighth of the island is being occupied by the western.

    Indigenous Taino People are the ones who inhabited to the region. In the time of Haitian revolution free people of colour and slaves revolted in the region.
