    i believe the political philosophy is communism

    political actvist were viewed as revolutionaries with anti-status quo attitude toward the established norms of american identity such as property. one idea that was mainly resented was equality. Equality as a concept had been very divisive on how it applies to capitalism, with those who called for equality being seen as agitating for an egalitirian society, class less in nature, which was not in line with american ideals. Now it is known that equality implies fair opportunity, chance and rights.
