The american revolution was not accepted because it was the very first act that something like this was about to happen.

First, you have to understand imperialism - the policy in which stronger nations extend their economic, political, or military control over weaker territories. European nations had been establishing colonies for centuries. Imperialism strengthened countries. But, America broke loss. with this it was like america was a disobedient and disowned child. So this ides was not very accepted.
Seconded, the economy was hurt in the process that the US broke off ties with Britain. This was because Britain was the world power and so the market was hurt

the us was a new country and was in the new world so other captive countries did the same as us so the big powers hated american ideology
