Individual rights are not absolute because they exist in society; in other words, they can not be absolute since that would cause a collision with other people's rights. For example, the right to freedom does not include the right to kill others (in this case, there would be a collision between the right to freedom and the right to life). Also, the right to freedom of expression does not include the right to insult or humiliate others.
