    Prior to visiting Kansas City, Count Basie said that he never had any chance to hear the blues based from his interview.

    Kansas City is the biggest city in the U. S. state of Missouri. It sits on Missouri's western border along with Downtown and near the confluence of the Missouri and Kansas rivers. Top Jazz stars and large audiences (from out-of-town) are attracted to the annual "Kansas City Blues and Jazz Festival".
