How was the postwar government of Great Britain different from that of East Germany?

    On the other hand, Great Britain, which operated under a constitutional monarchy, adopted capitalism as their political philosophy. The government was supportive of laissez-faire economics and the function of the state as a regulator between participants in the economic system.
