The Battle of Midway occurred between 4 and 7 of June 1942 - six months after the Attack on Pearl Harbor. On this battle, the US Navy defeated the Imperial Japanese Navy fleet. It was a planned attack by the Japanese that the American cryptographers were able to determine the date and location and this way, prevent Hawaii from being attacked again.
