Both groups faced many problems in Britain because they had major differences with the Church of England. So they decided to travel to the Americas to find a place where they could live their religious principles with no persecution. They arrive at Massachusetts and founded the colony of Plymouth in 1620, and years later, the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1629.
