We use the electoral college to elect presidents. Briefly explain the process. In your answer you must include: how many votes you need to win, explain who electors are, and why each state has a different number of them. Then explain why a Republican voter in California, or a Democratic voter in Mississippi, may not agree with the Electoral College system.

    Electoral College. Unlike in other U. S. elections, the president and vice president are not electeddirectly by the people. Instead, they're chosen by "electors" through a process called theElectoral College. The idea of using electors comes from the Constitution.
