In to lucasta on going to the wars what argument does the speaker make to justify going to war

In the poem "To Lucasta going into wars". There is a relation between love and war, he stated that he could not love her as much as he does if he did not love and value his honor "There is no higher form of love than the love of honor". His love of honor is what makes him loves a woman.

In the Poem "To Lucasta, Going to the Wars" the speaker leave behind Lucasta not just because some patriotic zeal, he justify going to war by saying he couldn't love her as much as he does if he didn't love and value his own honor even more. It means that his greater love of honor is what ultimately makes him capable of loving a woman. This way, the good reason to leave her and going to war is about his honor.
