Renewable natural resources such as trees, are alive and can also reproduce all by themselves. All of the natural resources have some potential economic value. The natural resources also provide the raw materials that are needed for the production of consumer goods and also capital goods. Therefore, these are the items that are used in the production process, things such as machinery.
