After the world wars women gained a leading role without presedentes in society. The women had to dedicate themselves to tasks that were considered only suitable for men. Based on this new role of women in society, the feminist movement was born, which included the following: the right to vote, the improvement of education, professional training and the opening of new working horizons, the equalization of the sexes in the family as a means of avoiding the subordination of women and sexual double standards. The great novelty came from the broad collective mobilization that this new social group was able to lead, and with that came into being within the feminist movement, what would later be known as the suffrage movement.
