What was Hamilton's theory of constitutional interpretation, and how did it differ from Jefferson's theory?

    Hamilton thought that any basically not out right ban by the constitution while Jefferson. Jefferson thought essentially the opposite in the way, if its not mentioned its not meant to be messed with.

    Explanation:

    Hamilton was a federalist and wanted a strong central government so the government would need to able do its thing, and it could only do that if it did things not stated or banned by the constitution. Jefferson was an antifederalist and wanted central government powers to be restricted to prevent tyranny
