Ming China refers to the Ming Dynasty that ruled China from 1368 to 1644. During this period the population of China doubled; there was expansion of trade to reach the outside world. This dynasty was famous in drama, literature and global porcelain.
Foreign trade increased commerce and manufacturing practices in the Ming China. Through foreign trade, Christianity was introduced to the Chinese people. However, there was also introduction of smuggling into the dynasty.
