    False

    a. By funding public works projects

    Explanation:

It is not true that after the Bonus Army demonstrations the Senate passed the Bonus Bill. The Bonus Army was a group of demonstrators composed of WWI veterans and their families. The demonstrators gathered in 1932 to demand early cash redemption of their service certificates in order to alleviate their precarious position due to the Great Depression. However, their demands were not successful until 1936.

One of the most important ways in which the New Deal assisted workers was by funding public works projects. This was done through the creation of the Public Works Administration (PWA). This provided funds for the building of public projects such as hospitals, roads, bridges and dams.
