The invasions and migrations in the early Medieval period were very harmful and the benefits were not really seen in general from it. During this period, the invasions were very brutal, as the invaders very often were killing very big portion of the population they invaded, the settlements were destroyed, the agricultural fields were destroyed too. The reasons for such brutality were mostly because of revenge for past events, religious ones, competitive ones. The migrations were also very harmful as in this period the medicine was not well developed, and through the migrations lot of diseases were spreading around easily, often causing death of lot of people. The people that migrated also tended to kill or forcefully move the people that lived in the area where they moved in.
