The country that experienced a noncommunist revolution for independence in the years after World War I is Egypt.

This country went through the Egyptian Revolution in 1919 in order to fight against the British occupation of Egypt and also Sudan. Furthermore, it was not only Egypt's first revolution but also the most important one since Egypt gained its independence in 1922 due to the revolution, which was led by Saad Zaghlul. Therefore, Egypt became the Kingdom of Egypt and a new constitution was promulgated in 1923. Moreover, the Egyptians adopted the parliamentary representative system.
