Daniel Ken Inouye was born in September 7 1924 in Hawai and died in Bethesda, Maryland on December 17 2012. He participated in World War II battle and served the country (USA) in 1943-1947. Hawaii achieved statehood in 1959, Daniel was elected as its first member of the United States House of Representatives. In 1962 he was first elected. Inouye never lost an election in 58 years as an elected official, and he exercised an exceptionally large influence on Hawaii politics.
