Why did Napoleon attack and invade the countries of Western and Central Europe

As we know it emperor Napoleon was a great at conquering other civilizations throughout many countries and mainly Europe. His widespread attacks fled others under his control and power expanding his empire. This widespread his power and was undefeated for many years as many feared him and his empire.
