Why do you think the Berlin Wall symbolized the Cold War? Do you think it represented something different to East-Berliners and West - Berliners? What do you think it meant to them and why?

    The Berlin Wall in general represented the presence of Communism in Europe, and to East berliners it probably symbolized oppression under Communism. To West berliners, it could have symbolized a lack of freedom present in Europe at the time that came with Communism.
