    Mr. Roosevelt was the 32nd president of the USA; he has proposed a New Deal which assures the people for better standard of living. The New Deal was framed to enhance the economic policies which indeed influence the local business with a major shift in profits.

    The National Recovery Administration (NRA) created by then-President was to control the competition between the industries and make them work along with the government. But it had created a huge shortfall in the national budget ending up in closure of businesses leading to the unemployment problems.

    Certain groups of people were against the New deal because they thought that the government is responsible for the great depression.
