    Romanticism was a movement originated in Europe in the 18th century giving priority to human feeling and emotions, and to the glorification of the nature, the human life, the past of the nations, etc ...

    It arose as a response to the Enlighment period and the era of the Industrial Revolution, defined by the application of reason and scientific methods and procedures to every single political, economic, philosophical or cultural tendencies. Everything was racionalized.
